Nazareth House provides residential care for 52 young children in
Vredehoek and day care for 30 infants at Liso Nobanda in Khayelitsha
The Missionary Sisters of Charity (Mother Theresa) provide a home
for the homeless and terminally ill, accommodating 60-70 people
including children, do family and prison visits
The Caring Network provides training and delivers supervised home
based care to 450 patients in greater Cape Town
DOCKDA offers Aids training and capacity building to rural Catholic
based community organisations in Namaqualand, O'Kiep, Keimoes, Hopetown,
De Aar, Malmesbury, Atlantis and Middelburg, Cape.
The
Goedgedacht Trust is a rural community development programme with an
Aids component and conference centre at Malmesbury/West Coast Region

HOPE (HIV outreach program & education) is a partnership project
of the German speaking Catholic Community Cape Town with the
Provincial Health, University of Stellenbosch and the Rotary Club of
Signal Hill providing care, support, treatment, research, awareness at
Tygerberg Hospital (Ithemba Ward) and local communities (e.g. Mfuleni,
Elsiesrevier, Clanwilliam).
Women in Need (WIN) is a Catholic Welfare and Development project
working with homeless people on the street with an Aids component
St Joseph's Home, Montana in partnership with Provincial Health,
provides step-down/respite care for 24 AIDS infants under two
years and their mothers
GILLIC (Go in love and light in Christ) is a young adult group
promoting a behaviour-changing process known as Education for Life
St Kizito's Children, W. Cape is part of a national programme to
equip church communities to respond to children infected and affected by
Aids and includes nutrition support for mothers and children in
partnership with UCT.
