SALESIAN SISTERS ( FMA)

The Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (Salesian Sisters) is a religious family born of the great heart of St John Bosco and the creative fidelity of St Mary Domenica Mazzarello

The story began in Mornese (Italy) in 1872. From the very beginning Mary Help of Christians was present as Mother and Guide.

The Sisters share in Christ's mission in the Church through Christian education in the style of the Preventive System. Reason, religion and loving kindness inspire an educational project which responds fully to the needs of evangelization in the world of youth.

The Salesian Sisters educational project is carried out by 17 000 sisters in 112 countries throughout the world through different types of schools, youth centres, works to improve the position of women and various pastoral projects.
